Vegan pumpkin spice latte recipe

Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte

You’ll need:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any other creamy plant-based milk)
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree (you can buy it or make it by boiling a pumpkin until soft and, well, pureeing)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp molasses
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 1 shot of your favorite espresso/however you like your coffee
  • If you wanna make your own pumpkin spice: 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 1/4 tsp ground cloves

Preparation:

Cook the milk on medium heat until it simmers gently, add the molasses, vanilla extract, maple syrup and most of the pumpkin spice and continue cooking for about 1-2 minutes. Mix in the pumpkin puree. Pour the coffee into your favorite mug, add everything else and decorate with the remaining pumpkin spice. Congratulations! You can now join the Pumpkin Spice Latte discourse. Happy second day of fall!
