We all know that Betty White was an amazing actress, but did you know she was also an avid animal rights activist?
White passed away at the impressive age of 99 only a couple of weeks ago. She dedicated a big part of her life to animal welfare and was very outspoken about the subject.
That’s why now there’s a new viral challenge under her name, calling people to donate 5$ to a local animal shelter/organization on January 17, which would have been her 100th birthday.
We think that’s a beautiful way to commemorate and celebrate this outstanding woman, so we decided that if you tell us which shelter/organization you will be donating to by tagging them in the comments, we will donate 5$ to the same place.
Yes. We’re serious. All you have to do is go to one of our social media pages (Facebook, Twitter or Instagram), tag a shelter/organization (anywhere in the world), and we will handle the rest. It’s one tag per person but not per place, so if the same place is tagged more than once we will donate 5$ for each tag. You have until Monday, January 17 at midnight.
